bodyguard jackets

It's brilliant, wonderful, excellent :D. Love it! :D :D :D

Fell off and banged head hard enough to have a bleed on the brain last year, but was wearing my MH Body armour jacket and didn't have a bruise on me :D

Have worn it once with a BP on top, when I thought things might get interesting(!!), but that was the only time I felt the need.

Not as thick as a BP, but would have probably saved my elbow/arm when Dizz slipped on the road and we went down (BP saved my ribs from the edge of the pavement and a probable break).

I'm about a size fourteen and mine is a medium if I remember right.

Have I mentioned that I love it? :D :D :D

Thinking of getting D1 one, but she's just had a new Kanteq (for Christmas lol), so not sure if it's one thing too many.

Oh, it's waterproof, windproof, has more pockets than you can shake a stick at; and has a whistle (I think lol). Comes up high around the neck if you want it to. Very egonomic to ride in, though not so comfortable to sit in a car with it on! Not padded, when makes it great for all seasons as can just put layers underneath :D. A few bits of high viz (my only gripe about it), but I put a high viz vest thingy over the top :D

Hi, I have a racesafe body protector and its good, but I mainly hack out and would prefer something less restrictive, but giving some protection for peace of mind x

I have one and it saved me a lot of bruising when I came off last Feb. I landed on the road, admittedly head first, but the only bruising I had other than to the head was a small bruise on the hip. I found that the zip didn't last very well but I'm still wearing it with the studs fastened and was when I fell off, so that doesn't seem to matter. I would love one in HI-viz but they don't do one, which I can't understand as Mountain Horse also make excellent hi-viz jackets.
I have a Kan-teq, which is the best BP I've found but find that the Bodyguard is more comfortable and less restrictive, also protects arms.
