As above really. I have a cob who has ‘summer allergies’. No definitive diagnosis but not specifically sweetitch. He hasn’t been allergy tested as the vet agrees he will be poly-allergic and insurance has excluded all of his skin due to mallanders (ridiculous imo). Anyway, I have had him for 8 1/2 years and usually only have mild irritation. About 3 or 4 weeks ago BAM! Huge lumps. Vet has no clue. Steroid injection worked for a day. He’s now getting the depo injection too. He’s on 60 antihistamines a day currently and in a Rambo sweetitch rug. Vet has recommended a boett plus cavalesse or bio plus. Any experience re boett sizing and experience of cavalesse or bio plus? Or any crystal ball suggestions? I’m at my wits end ☹️ TIA

My itchy horse wore a 6ft rambo sweetitch hoody dispite being 5'9 in everything else and has a 4+ sized boett. The itchy horse lady was very helpful when I asked for sizing help and once rug arrived I sent pictures which she used to help me adjust and check the fit. Definitely worth the money imo

Thanks. He has a Rambo sweetitch one just now and obviously irritants are still making it through. Boett seemed like a last ditch attempt at a rug. Glad you had success with yours ? any issues putting it on over their head?

No he actually quite likes the rug so stands like a little love to have it pulled over. Same coming off he isn't bothered. He has the fly mask too which us also a faff bit hes fine with it :)
