Boett rug

Hey, so I have put my ponys Boett on already I have bought her a boett face mask this year too however I am not too sure how to attach it to the rug. Anyone got experience of this?
I pulled the face mask over her head theres a long elastic at the top of the hood with a clip and then a couple more clips under the mask too.
I've had a look online for some guidance and the boett website but not any further forward.

The neck part of the mask goes under the rug and the long strap fastens to the clip inside the rug near the withers. You should have 2 parts to the clips on the mask one with a bit of elastic on. You need to stitch this to the neck of the the rug then the mask will clip to the rug.If you don't have the other part of the clip ask the Boett dealer for some. The loop on top of the mask should have the strap at the top of the neck of the rug which tightens the neck , threaded through it.

Put the rug on and you can mark the right place for the clip to be stitched.
