Hello all, I have owned my horse for the last three years. Every spring/summer she develops what I would describe as small bog spavins on her hocks.
They always seem to coincide with warmer weather and spring grass but I don't know if this has anything to do with it.
The first year we had X rays done and I was told to keep an eye on her weight which I have done. It's just strange that it seems to happen at this time every year.
I wondered if it's to do with hard ground but she isn't one for mad antics.
Has anyone else experienced similar or have any ideas please?
Thank you.
