I believe this company has been subject of forum discussion on previous occasions. Later today I expect people with first hand experience will post or PM you accordingly
They sound dodgy as hell to me! Have you seen the bit at the bottom of the 'horses for sale' page, where they sell horses 'from the field'? In my book that would be something that was not fit - in their eyes it is something you are not allowed to sit on before you buy it!!!
"These horses are all part exchanges (please note: these horses have not had bombproof training). Sold from the field (not ridden on viewing). All hack alone and in company, sound and vice free. Further details on viewing only. - Strictly No offers"
Why on earth would you not try out a horse of that price when going to view it.. I wonder why you arent allowed to ride them, it sounds like they have their heads in the clouds!
I always buy my bombproof/spookprrof horses locally by putting up wanted notices in the tack shops feed merchants and putting the word around with instructors, farriers etc.
That way the horses history and behaviour is known to locals and one can get a true picture
You must remember that a dealer buys horses in and sells them as quickly as possible. The less the time they have them in stock the less they pay out to keep them. In most cases they don't know the true history of the horse as they are bought from other dealers or auctions.
Therefore if you want to buy yourself a safe form of conveyance buy locally!
Not really! That kind of detail would constitute a defamatory post and in this day and age, can lead to litigation. That said if I had posts like this in response to a question about an establishment I was considering using, I would be able to guess 'why' and would run for the hills!
