I have stretch my stirrup leathers and am looking to replace them with some bonded leathers, does anyone use these? If so what brand would you recommend?
I'm only 5 foot 3 so need some that are short enough for me to use with a few holes to spare so that I'm able to put them up when I jump.
Thanks

I use reinforced stirrup leathers, they have never stretched in 5 years, I am also short only 5ft, I bought some full size ones and had my saddler shorten them for me. Katie Negus (google search) makes them otherwise look on ebay for reinforces stirrup leathers. I would definatly recomend them I would only use these for Jumping and X-C.

I have the amerigo calf leather stirrup leathers (bought for me by a very generous friend as they are pricey!). They are are very soft but will not stretch as they have a nylon-type core. I love them

My hubby has the bates ones with a nylon core. They are very nice about three years on, and weren't that expensive. They come in at least three different lengths which is essential as obviously you can't just punch an extra hole or two.

Thanks will prolly go with the Amerigo or Bates ones as I'm not keen on the quality of leather Treadstone use. The Stubben ones are what I already have and they do stretch which is why I'm having to replace them

I have pessoa, bates and amerigo

The only thing I would say is that the amerigo ones took ages to break in and squeaked a lot!

Love them all though - very nice leathers.

I have a set of Harry Dabbs, Jaguar bonded ones with the nylon core. They are amazing and really soft and for sale (If anyone is interested PM me!). They aren't cheap but I'm only selling mine as they are brown and I had to buy a new saddle yesterday which typically was only available in black! I will be buying another pair though!

I have the Jeffries bonded ones - quite nice and soft leather didn't take any time to break in and haven't stretched in about 3 yrs.
