Such a beautifull day, such a shame spending just shy of 4 hours in A&E!!!

Little big horse got a fright today, lept into the air and landed on the top part of my foot....

Trodding on toes i can deal with, crushing top parts of feet i cant :(:(

Anyway we put ice on it, and in true show must go on stylee i plodded on with the rest of the day...

Until i described the symptoms to my paramedic friend who said i need it checked! :(:(

Nurse pushed on my foot and it went crunch! i got sent for xray - nothing! I dont seem to break :p

I had my riding boots on all day, and the nurse reckons that had helped as it kept it all secure.

Now my boots are off its swollen right up and i cant put much weight on it:(

Almost the same thing happened to me when my boy was a two year old. Someone lead a stroppy mare behind him, she squealed and he jumped sideways and landed on both my feet. I took my boots off straight away and dunked feet in a bucket of cold water. Went to A&E, had an Xray and nothing broken. It certainly felt like it though.
