Hi, I posted a few weeks about my horse having a carpal sheath injury. Went to vets this morning after 8 weeks box rest to reasses and she is trotting up slightly unlevel. started nerve blocking foot upwards and didn't have to get very far before she trotted up sound. Xrayed foot/pastern/fetlock and noticed a dark circle on pastern - thinking bone cyst. Will be reassed later this week ridden with nerve blocking (due to complications earlier in week when ridden) and making sure we are mri'ing the correct place.
Just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and what avenue they went down. It seems more common in younger growing horses, not horses that are 17.
(Obviously we are still not ruling out carpal sheath injury)
