Hello all.I have a mare who was diagnosed with a bone spavin back in July but spavin was already starting to fuse nicely. She is only on Glucosimine powder but nothing else like injections or bute. She is not lame but maye a tiniest bit stiff.I would like to take her to a little fun show next week and just do one inhand class with her.Do you think that would be okay for her to do.Thankies.

I don't see why not! I usually give my mare a couple of bute before i go to a show! Have fun!

PMSL. Techincally I'm sure that's not allowed, even at unaffiliated shows. However, I'm sure many people do it and I've never heard of horses being dope tested at the village shows.

most judges are as bling as bats anyway - i entered on of mine in a local show with a wacking great splint, just to get her used to the atmosphere (pony is sound BTW) judge didn't notice/ seem to be worried, we were 3rd out of 12 or so.......
