She is home! Yippeeeeee

She came home last night and settled almost immediately.
She is 7 weeks old and sooooooooooo tiny. She sleeps alot. Moss, my border collie loves her already. Within half an hour they were playing chase - supervised - but Boo can only stay awake for an hour before she falls asleep.

She didn't cry last night (I'm sure she will tonight - can't be that good)
She has found a corner of the patio to wee and poo in. Only one accident in the house so far but we are taking her outside every half hour, when she wakes and after she has eaten.

My only question so far is - how often should she sleep? I'm sure my others dogs didn't sleep this much. I got my other two at 9 weeks and 11 weeks. Could it be that she is that much younger.

Any way - on to the piccies.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, isn't she the cutest! Toy, blankie and best friend!! Pookie was like that at that age, just irresistibly cute!

I wouldn't worry about how much she sleeps, she'll sleep as much as she needs. Only if she is always lethargic and seems poorly, but she looks bright and active in the photos (in between the naps!).

enjoy the lots of sleeping! soon she will turn into a teenager?! would advise to train her to the outside garden asap.... your older dogs will help. jacks can be difficult to house train, so keep putting her out! she is very cute!

Ah bless she looks adorable! Glad to hear she's settled in well.:D
As for her sleeping, I wouldn't be too worried so long as she seems alright in herself once she awakes! In fact you should cherish those peaceful moments as she'll soon be full of beans and bombing around!:p

Thanks - she slept all night again last night with no crying - too good to be true - surely this can't last.
She has had a few mad half hours today too - she doesn't walk anywhere, just runs!
She has taken really well to her crate too.
She is lay next to me just now - fast aleep - suckling as she is dreaming- sooooooo cute.

Aw bless, she's gorgeous! I've just got a little JRT boy (got him at 8 weeks) and he is now 11 wees - he sleeps alot, especially in the pm and eve, and then still manages to make it right through the night. I'm not worried, I reckon its a busy growing and learning time, and it must be tiring! Enjoy her, they get bigger far too soon!
