Book recommendation or Help?

I have been trying to explain to some one how to influence landing on the correct leading leg after a jump, got my self confused never mind her! can any one recommend a book or explain clearly & simply? (I spent 3 months trying to get her to understand what riding with a contact meant)

Can't you just tell her to ride the horse on a curve to the next fence, and to make sure that the horse is on the correct canter lead for the curve by canter left or right aids?
