My mare had an accident jumping a ditch out hacking, she launched herself sideways instead of jumping straight, fell in and lacerated her hind cannon to the bone scrambling out.
No tendons or ligaments severed luckily, it was a clean cut, stitched within a hour.
It is nearly healed now I am going back gently riding her but I would like to get some boots for her, as it wouldnt be totally stri6ng yet.
So - hind boots, soft inside but not sheepskin, not loads of buckles, that would survive mud and puddles and be good for show jumping? Recommendations please. TIA
