Last year, I bought a pair of the Ariat Bromont Tall H2o Insulated boots with a wide calf instead of a regular. I bought them for competition wore them a handful of times and they were great until I lost weight and now they are miles too wide on my calf. I am in two minds whether to sell them and buy some new boots or have the calf reduced by my local saddlery. Has anyone had this done? I adore them but I can't ride in them anymore.

You certainly can have boots taken in, but you should probably get it done by a proper bootmaker, I would be surprised if the local saddler would take it on, and it would be awful if the job wasn't tidy . . .

They are reknowned at the saddlery for adjusting boots etc - a few friend's have had their's done and have recommended them so hopefully it won't be a bodge job!
