Can anyone recommend a make of long riding boots, preferably zipped?

I havent got mega bucks to spend but want a nice pair, some of the cheaper ones are useless, you cant bend your leg or ankle and cant feel the horse properly.

Im open to ebay or second hand!!

Thanks

Ive got a set of ariat insulated bromonts, they are abit pricey but defiantly worth the outlay if you can save up over a few weeks/months. After a few days to 'break them in' they have dropped and i love them, i used to have ariat short boots and gaiters but would never go back to them, now i have these! Kept my feet lovely and warm even through all the snow, and there not too hot in the warmer weather! Spoil yourself!!

Equitector, lovely and comfortable and are made for the UK market (and so the UK body type). Can be made to size too rather than off the shelf as so many are. Fairly well priced too IMHO.

I've also got the ariat bromont insulated and I love them well worth the money although I didnt buy mine they mine were a christmas present a year ago .

I adore my Regent Ranch riders. Sturdy without being too bulky - they're the only ones which have lasted me for years - they've been with me through mud and muckheap. OH bought me some new ones for Xmas, but I haven't worn them yet - don't want to get them dirty, so I keep on with the ancient ones!

Id` save some ££££ and get the Ariats, so worth the money and long lasting, I`ve got the Grasmeres (no zip) and they take a right battering, muck out, walk through clay fields, beach, riding, come up new after a quick squirt with the hose :)

I can't recommend the Bromonts highly enough. I have the insulated ones and they are honestly the most comfortable boots I have ever worn and I have never had feet that are even slightly chilly - even back in December they were toasty warm! They are expensive but they are truly worth it :)
