What do you use on your horses legs day to day? For jumping and/or dressage? And why that particular brand?
Not being massively nosy, I just really need to buy a new set of boots and was curious to see what others use. :)

Woof Wear double strap for every day; plus OR boots if we are off to the beach for a canter....NEW tendon and fetlock boots and Style Products for XC and Hunting.

On my 'good' horses, for want of a better word, day to day I use the NEW orthopaedic foam brushing boots for flat/hacking/jump schooling. I like them because they are light and don't absorb water, so are quick to clean and dry. Can't stand neoprene boots which tends to rule out most makes.

I've got a little cobby job too at the moment. He wears nothing, incl XC and hunting when season starts! Tough as old boots is my little p-pony!

For sj - eskadron dead sheep tendon/fetlock/overreaches
For flatwork - eskadron DS overreaches + bandages
For xc - trizone overreaches and NEW airflow xc boots
Also have WW brushing boots, but found they heated the legs, so were used once then were abandoned in my boot box!
:)

I have millions of different boots and bandages!!

I normally bandage for dressage, if I am in a rush I use Eskadron Pro Dressage boots as I like the way they sit on the front of the fetlock compared to other wraps.

For hacking I have a selection of boots, the set I prefer are NEW Lite XC as they are light, don't absorb water and fit well.

If he is being jumped he wears Eskadron Tendon and Fetlock boots.

He wears Eskadron over reach boots for everything!

I love boots and mine have about 20 pairs as I like to change them a lot.

xc: I used to use PE xc boots (the air cooled ones) but no need for those anymore.

jumping: Eskadron (no sheepskin) - again, no need for those anymore. I also have a set of leather crosby ones which were nice in that they matched his jump saddle perfectly but didnt offer brilliant protection.

Flatwork: equilibrium (stretch & flex (for lessons) and old style tri-zone ones - just bought a set of the new style ones to see what they are like), old style PE brushing boots which are fantastic and I wish I had bought more when they were still in production. I have also just bought some caldene ones that I really like - these ones:

I use tri-zone all sports boots. They are amazing and ever so light but protective !
My horse had problems with his legs overheating with other boots but these are brilliant !

I use Eskadron Climatex bandages when I have time for flatwork (and some over reach boots)...if I'm in a rush I use NEW lite brushing boots in front and Eskadron fetlock boots behind. For jumping I use Eskadron open fronted tendon boots and fetlock boots behind.

Used to use Woof Wear boots but found they never lasted as long as Eskadron (the stitching would go, or the velcro would go) and got so fed up of replacing them!

Woof Wear brushing boots for hacking and schooling. Have a pair of brushing boots made from wet suit material, they've stood up to Ballet's brushing really well.

Tri-zone All sports boots for XC, theyre air vented and light.
Showjumping, usually tendon boots, or just the all sport ones.

The newer John Whitaker International tendon and fetlock boots (plastic/neoprene with cut back head) for jumping and some similar but older boots for schooling. I wish I could bandage, but I don't want to cause more harm by doing it wrong, so I boot up :D

Equilibrium vented trizone tendon boots and brushing boots for jumping; Trizone X-country; and just bought the Eq. all-sports to use for everyday schooling and back up to the others. Cnsidered the Equilibrium schooling wraps but without seeing in the flesh, not sure what protection was really being offered and not much cheaper than the allsports boots. Do make sure you measure your horse, as I had to return one set of boots which were far too big (length and girth) from the generic height guide.

My horse is probably a little bit close in front, keeps knocking himself so have a wide range of boots I use! I use equilibrium hardy chaps for turnout at night, and cheapo William funnel 'splint boots' with overreach boots in the day.
For flat I usually bandage with premier equine polo bandages because they're really long and thick and feel like they offer more protection than exercise bandages and gamgee.
For jumping I have the plastic and neoprene john whitaker tendon and fetlock boots and for hunting/xc galloping work or when I'm hacking and can't be bothered to bandage, I have premier equine original event boots (the new style with the new liner) which were very good value and fit my 16.2 polo pony x tb very well.. They do come up very big though - my boy has medium, man in shop said a small generally fits 15-15.3hh!
I use the rubber overreach boots with the strap fastening that you have to thread through -have lasted longer than any Velcro pair I have had!

For years I bandaged (polos over eskadron pads) all the time. But my horse is one of those who poos under saddle ever time he's ridden, so the bandages always needed washing, and it just takes more time to do them. I still bandage if I'm going to be working a lot on steep lateral work or tempis. But mostly I've been converted to brushing boots for convenience and to spare the washing machine.

Maggie wears Stretch & Flex wraps (the ones that extend below the fetlock) for dressage but I'm not really that impressed with them - they slip unless you do them up really tight and then I think the edge might rub under her fetlock. Can't be bothered to bandage - any dressage boot suggestions much appreciated...

For jumping she has Veredus Carbon Gels which are great but expensive.

For flatwork usually bandages but before my horse went lame I had got lazy and started using the eskadron all round boots which were really good. Always have eskadron dead sheep over reach boots

If lungeing/hacking/galloping then sports medicine boots on front, brushing on back and rubber o/r boots

when I decided to do some jumping I got the veredus carbon gel tendon and fetlock boots but I haven't used them in about 2 years -oops!
