Anyone know where I can get some type of boot for my 25 year old thoroughbred's front feet?? After an injury 2 years ago she no longer has front shoes on and finds the hard surfaces from stable to field too much. After something easy to put on and take off once she's in the field. Goes from a 100 year old cripple on the road to a scatty 4 year old once her feet touch the grass. Tried the green easi boot I think they are called but very difficult to get on and off. Only 3 mins walk from stable to field.

Cavallo boots are easy on and off. I think a tb's feet are round usually? My warm blood currently had quite round front feet and is wearing the cavallo simple which is just easily fastened with Velcro. I got mine from equine podiatry supplies, google th and check how to measure for accurate size if you don't already know (I wouldn't of). They were about £78. Hope that helps.

Try ebay once you've measured the right size as they often come up second hand.

It's less than clear on the fitting guide: the Cavallo Simple (the most common style) are perfectly circular so if the width is slightly wider than the length (which it usually is) then go with that measurement.
