Boots for turnout dilema

My horse has always had a habit of kicking herself on her back legs and is forever coming in with cuts and bruises. I used to put brushing boots on her for turnout and this was fine when she was at a different yard where she was stabled overnight all year round so wasn't wearing them 24/7. However she now lives out in summer and I am loath to put them on in case she sweats under them (she has had funny skin before after wearing them for hours) However today she came in with a massive gash on one leg (looks like she has been self harming with a kitchen knife!) and a gauge out of her coronet band on the other foot! I know this could easily be solved by her wearing over reach boots on her back feet (she already wears them 24/7 on her fronts in summer) as they won't make her sweat but I am wondering what to do with her back legs. Do I risk letting her cut herself all the time (her legs look awful as they have so many scars on them already!) or can anyone reccomend some good breathable turnout and/or brushing boots that she could wear 24/7, or that I could rotate so she wears brushing boots half the day and turnout boots the rest. What would you all do?
Thanks!

I would put over reach boots on all 4 feet (good fitting ones) and hope that she can not harm herself as much as her shoes will be covered up. I would never have a horse wear boots 24/7 on their legs as its very bad for them and could make her have more serious problems than just cuts. If necessary could you put them on either day/night when she is most likely to hurt herself...if there is a pattern.
Sorry cant reccomend and boots though as so far mine just have OR boots! He will eventually go to schooling wraps as he starts to work harder and more seriously!

I can recommend the premier equine ones, had them on both boys while they were self harming and worked a treat and didn't overheat their sensitive legs :)

I use the equilibrium turn out chaps in the winter and in the summer I use the equilibrium flatwork wraps for turnout... they are very breathable and lightwt and his legs dont seem too hot under them. So far touch wood they have helped protect from injury (I have a ginger race horse so no hope really!)

Off the wall ideas?....... find out reason for kicking, then make adjustments, farriers can move the hind shoes so they do not hit the other side.
Me, I would take hind shoes off and walk up steep hills to build inner thigh developement, this will push legs further apart.

I used to have a horse that kept coming in with injuries on his inner thighs of his back legs and cuts inside his hocks, as well as overreach damage

My farrier made some 3/4 shoes for him, so the inside edge of the back shoes was short, and the injuries stopped

Over reach on all 4 or get a sausage boot if less harm on the hinds.

NEW boots will work BUT you do need to wash daily! SO I would use 2 sets, whilst you take one set home to wash to bring back the next day your horse can wear the others.

The NEW boots don't retain water nor do they allow the horse to get sweaty.

There are some on ebay should you want a bargain!
