There seems to be a big difference in the price of horse boots if they have carbon fibre strike pads or Kevlar ones. Do you think they justify the higher price? Would you pay for them or think they are a bit over the top for Riding Club type riding? (they seem to be anything from £50 - £90 odd for eg Delmar ones)

Sorry if this should be in stable yard, but only 5 viewing in there at the moment

They cost much more & may well provide greater protection for your horse than conventional boots but do you really need the extra protection? I've been around horses for many years, I've never bought kevlar/carbon fibre boots, just used normal brushing, tendon, fetlock boots & my horses have had ample protection.

I have the Premier Equine ones for hunting and they have been ok. TBH i probably wouldnt buy them again as i didnt think they were any different to the usual ones i use.
