Boots on hind legs... has anyone noticed horse kicking heels up more?

I've not put boots behind on PF for AGES, but I did the other day for jumping and OMGoodness did she kick her heels up... Course, it might just've been her natural enthusiasm for jumping especially after a few months off, and not the boots, but it seemed a bit of a coincidence.
Incidentally, they were ordinary brushing boots.
Anyone noticed a similar effect on their horses?
 
Yes, some horse react to any boots on their back legs - not just weighted ones.

The BSJA have now banned back boots in certain age classes for this reason
