Boots or Bandages???

When hacking and schooling i usually wear boots but have started using bandages some days and boots another day depending on what im doing with my boy.

Which are more supportive boots or bandages??

Neither are supportive as such. A bit of plastic/material/leather can hardly provide support to a horses leg that is made of bone, tendon, muscle and ligament. Boots or bandages are to do with protection and, as such, boots will be more suited to that purpose.

hehe if i tried to put bandages on jack i would get tangled in them

hehe once you are taught you would get it. As long as you keep the bandage tight you would be fine. I'll teach you x

boots! horsecrazy25 how do you know when tight is tight enough or too tight or not tight enough?? bandaging is an art! bad bandaging is very common and leads to loads of problems! boots every time!

mmmm good point. I hardly where bandages but when i do use bandages i am very careful and make sure the bandage is tight not to tight and not lose so they will fall down!! Bandaging is an art x
