Boots or bandages?

As title really what do people prefer and why?

What are the pros and cons of both?

Would bandages help keep my arthritic horse warmer for hacking and schooling when warming up and so keep him less stiff?

Would just be for light schooling and hacking over the winter months

Hi i used to use sportabacs for turnout and veredus stable boots for inside-much easier than bandages as they go under and around the fetlocks really snugly and evenly. i found with keeping the legs warm and wrapped he didnt get stiff of fill in the stable, and i used to massage his legs in the morning and evenings (yes i know that sounds rediculous -but he thought he was royalty and deserved it) then just brushing boots for riding (clarendons of course)
