A recent thread regarding tendon boots got me thinking about this.
I rarely use boots on my mare except if jumping. I have the Equilibruim Airlight Tendon boots which are like a mesh and very light. Not sure how much protection they would offer but we dont jump big or go fast.
Ive heard that neoprene boots can seriously heat the legs up and I recall that a forum member said that it is the same material as wet suits which are designed to keep people warm.
Most boots seem to be neoprene nowadays.
Are there any boots that do not make the legs hot or if not which boots are better than others?
