Boots with slippy soles!

Good Morning All,
I have recently bought a new pair of short boots and matching gaitors for doing some shows with my horse this summer. But I am having a problem! The boots seem to have really slippy soles and I am finding it difficult to keep my foot in the correct place in the stirrup

I do not experience this problem with any if the other boots that I ride in. Does anyone have any tips for making the soles more sticky! I was wondering if new stirrup treads might help as mine are getting quite worn?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Yes new stirrup treads would work, I had the same problem, and new treads helped loads

You could try taking them to a local cobbler who could probably glue on a more grippy sole?

New treads will also help though!

I took my boots to mender and he put rubber soles on them(about £8).They also sell glue on ones in Woolworths for a couple of pound.
