Ok sorry if this is the wrong place to post this
I am looking in to buying a new pair of long black riding boots which I can show in (hunter types and riding types) can any one recommend some to me ?
I have up to £200 to spend and would like good leather that looks smart and will last (it will be looked after)

I have had Saxon boots before they didn't last to long said
And I have also had sherwood (think that's the band) boots before and didn't like them
So any thing any one has and uses?

Ps my calf Is 16" so need to be on the wide side if possible :)

Thanks guys
But then I looked at there full calf withe it's only 16.1 " so it would be rather tight once I have my jods on
Are there any others that might be a little wider?
Dam my wide legs :/

How about these? I'm not slim about the calf and the regular fits me well, they do a wider fitting too and there is a strip of elastic that keeps them comfy (you wouldn't notice when on though). whttp://www.equiwear.co.uk/mountain-horse-classic-high-rider-717-p.asp

Regent boots are great, there are different versions but if you Google their site the ones at the top are the most traditional then there are some others further down (Oakleys I think)that would also be suitable for showing. Ariats are good so I have herd but the ones I've mentioned would be more of the traditional showing/hunting style.
