Don't all jump on me, and I'm not sure if it's been posted before, but anyone want to discuss it? I don't mean on the basis that you love/hate Borat or whatever, I mean people's attitudes and the good ol' hunting debate.

Old being the operative word, please don't come out with the same used excuses as to why you are for or against hunting, I don't care, I'm just intruiged as to what everyone's reactions to Borat's interview are.

er, its not really about the hunting 'debate' tho is it! its just about him interviewing people (supossedly protestors) and talking about shooting bears (as he usualy does) and thats about it.....

E_jh I think you've hit on it - what I was wanting to say was it's got to the point where people are taking the p:ss out of it because it's so stupid. I don't mean hunting or the anti's fighting their corner, but that it has gone on for so long and banning hunting hasn't stopped the anti's from complaining etc.

52% of people thought that banning hunting with dogs was the stupidest thing the labour party has done (I think!) - IMHO, although I'm not sure when this was filmed - it shows it.

It is totally ridiculous. part of what makes it so funny is puffed up antis crowing on about 'respect for the law' when the truth is that no one really gives a damn.

Most people just shrug their shoulders and carry on regardless.

If they have a sense of humour failure it's only cos they're a bit more on the ball and know what he's up to. Dont know if this is the same vid i'm thinking off (didnt have time to watch it - sorry) then in it he asks a huntsman if killing a little fox 'make him feel like real man' and the huntsman gleefully says yes - oblivious to the fact the urine is being well and truly extracted!
