Border Collies - what do yours do?

I work with 2. 1 is a family do 90% of the time and spends 10% of his time being amazing at agility with me.

And Bill who is the main sheep dog on the other farm, He is amazing one of the quickest and most effective herders I have ever seen

Not a great deal!

I tried agility when I was younger but she worried a little bit when bigger dogs were barking all the time so we just did it at home for fun. She is a proper family dog, chills infront of the fire at night and spoilt! She is lucky that she gets to go to work with my Dad in the van every day going to different sites in the country and goes for long walks! She is 14 in May and still going strong, whenever we put her on a diet she goes out and catches rabbits and we have found her with a squirrel twice....god knows how she managed that!!

However I wouldn't change her for the world! :D

Mine is a rehome and is settling in really well. Has had a few "issues" which he has worked through and is becoming a great dog. I'm training him for flyball and agility.
all this as well as being a great family member.

Hello, we have a farm. Ours is a sheep dog in training. She is 13mths and doing brilliantly with the sheep. she is definatly a keeper...........My husband thoughts on dogs are they are there to do a job, i think in all honesty if she turned out to be rubbish at caawing sheep i would still keep her she is beautiful!!!

Mainly agility, but:-

Boomer did jumping classes, but preferred obedience, he's now 15.5 years old, so retired.

Bertie did breed showing as a puppy, competed at agility getting to grade 4 (on a fluke!), he competed in 2 DINAS finals and 1 Supadogs final, he competed in a few HTM competitions, he's a registered Pets As Therapy dog and retired a year ago from this and he's just taken up flyball his 1st comp was January, he's 12.5 years old.

Teagan loved agility (grade 4), but she started measuring jumps badly about 3 years ago, so has had to retire to allsorts/veterans, she also competed in a couple of HTM classes, she's 9.5 years old.

Skye is my main agility dog now (grade 3, but 2 2nd places in agility), she just competed in the KC Novice Cup agility at Crufts yesterday, she's also a registered Pets As Therapy dog, doing 1 visit a week, she started flyball last year and had 2 comps in January, her team came 1st in her 1st comp, she's also done HTM training, but not competed, she's 5 years old.

Star is Skye's 11 month old daughter, I've just started her agility training, only really low jumps and tunnel, I'm hoping she'll compete at agility and maybe flyball (if I can get her interested in a tennis ball) when she's older.

Back l-r Teagan, Bertie, front l-r Boomer, Star and Skye.
