Border terriers

After being dogless for a while I have decided that I need another terrier in my life. I’m going for one of my long term dreams - a border.
Not a breed I’ve ever had before so I don’t know where to start. Can anyone recommend any reputable breeders please? I’m in no rush at all.

I’m after a working type, shorter haired and longer legged. Thanks!

Can't recommend a breeder as I lucked upon mine as a puppy at the RSPCA he was KC registered though. Just wanted to say you absolutely will not regret it mine was the most loyal, intelligent dog I have ever owned. Miss him every day. Good luck in your search!

I've had several, they were all fabulous dogs, great temperament and great family dogs.

The downsides are that hand stripping them is a pita, but clipping them wrecks the undercoat. And they are prone to skin conditions.

I'd definitely have another.
