We've recently weaned our wee foaly as her mother was looking extreamely poor and we were worried about her going into winter with so little covering (the foal however is very well) so we seperated them about 2 weeks ago and they were absolutely fine, no problems.
We dont have anywhere at our where the foal can live so we are renting a field in the nearest village and have put foal wth her 2yr old sister.. now here's the problem. the 2yr old has always lived in a massive field with trees and sheep and chickens, exciting stuff really but the new paddock, although plenty big enough (about 2 acres with loads of grass) is completely flat with no trees and just her little sister for company. The field is directly infront of the owner's house and i keep getting phone calls saying 'she's running up and down the fence' i visit them twice a day once to check on them and once to feed and although the 2yr old doesn't seem upset she does look a little bored, so my question is can you get field toys like you can get stable toys, she only has to be there another month but i cant handle this lady flapping all the time!!
Thanks in advance xxx

You could get a really cheap exercise ball and play football with her?! Although the risks of it being eaten, blowing away etc could be quite high...

You can just put a horseball (the ones you fill with nuts) in the field...
