borrowing a pony for hunting

Does anyone do this?
I have a horse who is not suitable for hunting, but i used to have a little cob pony who i tookand actually loved it.
So was just enquiring really as to whether people do almost loan out their ponies for them to go hunting, (if they dont want to take them themselves)

My friends are loaning a horse from a riding school for 6 months over winter purely for hunting so yes, it can be done. I think you may struggle to find a winter loan horse privately, but riding schools definitely reduce their stock over winter to save on costs and they may have something suitable for you.
