As above really. I have the normal bib and have been very impressed, however every winter the bottom of my horses mane gets rubbed off and I am wondering if the mane protector is any good. It's a fair wack more expensive than the normal bib so don't really want to buy it if it doesn't work.

My horse is quite a cold horse and a lot of her winter rugs have a neck, so just lookng for something to protect her mane. Any alternatives that work are also welcome!

I'm a massive bossy bibs fan - but I'm afraid I wouldn't buy another full neck one. All of mine have the normal bossy bibs and they are great. But the mane protector one wasn't as effective as I had hoped it would be and we lost chunks. Wrapping the lot, neck and all, in an old stocking / pair of tights (suitably chopped obviously) works better. Plus it got tatty very quickly, the velcro tore off and it snagged. Sorry bossys - love the usual ones though!
