Bossy's Bibs Mane Guard

I am thinking about buying one of these for each of my horses... They are quite costly and i am wondering if anyone has one and if they work? I am fed up of turnout rugs rubbing off their mane! It has only just about grown back and soon it'll be rugs on again and it'll fall out!!!!!

Just googled to find reviews of these. Can only find one old post on h&h from last winter and no one had tried them...

Has anyone had any experience with these? I do a blanket clip so take all the neck off hence use neck rugs. Mane hasn't grown back from last winter yet!!

I've tried copious amounts of conditioner (last year, to no avail)!!!

I want to know if these are any good too if anyone has tried them, my boy has hardly any mane left, I don't want to hog it, and there's that little left that there would be no point in pulling...

He's looking a bit like a punk rocker at the minute with the bits he does have sticking up on end, and the rest looking scraggly.

Any other recomendations appreciated, I don't want to have to wait until summer for him to grow his mane back, or have it all gone by then, it's almost all gone now! :-(

I just ask the rug company if I can have the neck a size up - all my PE/amigo/rambo's have the neck a size bigger and everyone has a full mane
