I'm thinking about starting to give my slightly arthritic mare Boswellia as I have heard fantastic reviews so think it's worth a try!

However, I've not been able to find any infomation on the differences between Boswellia Serrata and Boswellia Carteri, and which is better and why?

If anyone knows the answer I'll give you a cookie or two :P

dont know the answer re difference but I have my old companion pony on it and she is moving really well now. Before this she would not run about with my mare and I got the farrier to look at her feet in case it was lami but he said no there was nothing there and he watched her move and we decided that it must be must be arthritis in the fetlock, she is 21 years old. She is now running around with my mare and back to her old self.

I tried my arthritic horse on devils claw, saw no difference, then tried boswellia serrata and had a massive improvement.

No idea what the difference btween the 2 types is though

Started my arthritic boy on Boswellia (get it from Feedmark). You don't have to feed much and it seems to have made a real difference. Also his breathing is better. Definitely worth a try.
