OK, what keeps them away?
What kills the eggs on the horse? If anything. (I remove them every day).
I have 2 nags, a bright bay and a dark bay, they clearly prefer the dark bay, BUT is that his colour? OR the fact that the bright bay is covered in Bezylbenzoate (stop itch), does anyone else know if that deters them?
Any suggestions really appreciated for my chemical covered naggies....

I would love to know the answer to this, as my ponies HATE them.

I remove the eggs from their legs with a knife, but the flies themselves drive them insane to the point where they are trotting round non stop, dripping in sweat and exhausted, and I have to stand them all in just to give them a rest!

I havent found a spray that works yet!

I've heard that repellents that use DEET epsecially work against bot flies. I recommend Naf DEET, it's really good with general flies as well. The net tex bot egg remover is also very good. good luck! xx

Hey, i already use naf deet, but only on the darker bay, and he is the one who gets the most bot flies??? Nightmare no?
