Tips for keeping calm? Mostly me! Both of my most prized possessions off to hospital together. BBP is a good traveller as long as he has a nice calm friend but is prone to panic attacks if not. He’s like a child that will get into a car with any stranger. Little CCP (chilled chocolate pony vs bonkers black pony) loaded and travelled really well to and from hospital in January but has built up 10 weeks of box rested energy since then so I’m a little worried he may try star jumps in the lorry which will then set BBP off. Hoping I can get some sedalin in to the youngster before the trip.
Little CCP is in for his follow up scan, we will be about 10 weeks after he suffered an 80% rupture of the superficial digital flexor tendon above his hock. He’s been really good in general for someone who isn’t even 2 yet, but has tried out a few star jumps against doctors orders.
BBPs lump is growing between his hind legs so he is off to see a specialist. I’m pretty worried as it’s not just the nodular lump but seems to spread in a more insidious way under the skin over quite a large area. This is the first opportunity I’ve had to get him in (if you’ve seen my post in club house I’ve had a lot on but I’m worried that my delay may have made it worse).
