Bought my friends a horse as a wedding Present! Am I a muppet?

Ok, they both love horses, and didnt have anywhere to keep one, so I bought them a yearling as a wedding present. Now, they bot love him, but have different opnions on his name. He wants Tyson, she wants Gandalf. He is brazen, tyson def suits him more, but I think I might have started more than I reckoned for?? They are getting married on 28th august, and i really hope they have a name sorted before then, what will they be like if they have children. Maybe I should have bought them a picture of a horse??? By the way, I'm looking after "it" for them, as they dont have anywhere to put it. I'm a mupprt, yeah????
 
Nah, horse is real, combining names is a good idea, although at the rate we are going, he could be "it" for a while. And I was just thinking that with the naming system in place with the horse board, you never get your first or second choice anyway. Must put up a pic of him, if i can. technology and me dont get on!! he is beautiful though, and I bought him for a song. Wish I could find a cheap riding pony for my children as easily???
And, of course you can be my friend, just hope ye are not getting married to soon, or I'll be broke. LOL!!!!!!
 
now thats a funny question. Mare was a 15hh pony type, strawberry roan, stallion was 16hh coloured 3/4 bred, so god only knows what you'd call him, he turned out black and white. mostly black head, dainty, lots of white on his body with black patches. They love him to bits, they even wanted to bring him to the wedding until i explained what would happen, so thankfully they decided against it. will try to put up pics, could be calling on you to talk me through it. I'm a disaster with that kind of stuff. will try though!!
 
lol feel free, or send them over and I will stick them up. Im hoping to be in Ireland next week my 2nd time ever, im ordering some nice weather this time lol

They sound very smitten, and how lovely of you to look after him too. Would love to see photos if you can get them to work :)
 
Gandolf for me more intellectual than tyson but both good names , please come and visit me anytime your a good friend ,haha!I hope they appreciate your generosity
