Sorry this is going to be gushy, Im just so in love with my pony right now, Im sure you will have all seen my depressing posts about my mares injury and our trip to Rossdales, well they found out what was wrong and they hoped steroid injections would fix it, I've been following my rehab plan to the letter, she has tried to be a nappy naughty cheeky little mare but I outsmarted her (electric fencing is a wonderful thing!!). Yesterday I went for a school and Im not sure Ive ever felt my mare so soft and light she was just brilliant and really working long and low just as the physio and vet wanted.
This morning we went for a short hack and I was certain she would be naught as it was bin day but nothing a complete star, Im hoping its only another 2 weeks till we can start jumping. Any advice on how to introduce it again???
She may still be a comp horse, something I never thought would happen!!!
It just goes to show that tiny changes in behavour can be very significant and we all really need to listen to our horses!!
