Bow Balance or Flexon?

I am considering getting my OH some new stirrups for Christmas. At the moment, he just has a very old pair of cheap and cheerful bendy ones for his hacking and lessons.

Any opinions between the Sprenger Bow Balance and the various different Flexon stirrups?

I love my flexon shock absorbing stirrups. I have a reconstructed ACL and they are brilliant for knees. However, somebody with bad ankles used mine and found them very painful.

I am the same as cow pony in but also broke my ankle on the opposite leg to the ACL reconstruction and find Flexons the best stirrups.

Flex ons! They really do live up to the hype. Anyone who rides in mine goes and buys themself a pair afterwards!

Flexon people what size are your feet .... they only come in one size? Worried they are too small (size 7)!!
