Random question of the day - the bow on the back of my black velvet riding hat has fallen off leaving 2 unsightly lumps of glue that I cant get off without risking tearing the velvet.

So does anyone know of anywhere I can buy a new one? I've looked all over but cant find anywhere that sells the bow, if you google it you just get lots of hats coming up! I dont want to buy another hat just for the sake of the bow, so if anyone knows of somewhere I can find one I will love you forever!

The only website I've found to offer this is this one - http://www.glacialis.co.uk/glacialis-crystallised-bow-edge.html

And for £39 that is just way too pricey for me, yes some bling would be nice for my dressage competitions but £39 is just too much!

Otherwise I'll have to make my own and I dont think that will turn out particularly well knowing my sewing skills

That's not a bad idea, only problem is the really cheap ones might end up selling for more than what they are listed for currently, and postage is pretty pricey for something that size as well.

Thanks though - will keep my eye on how much they sell for!

Thanks everyone - finally after hours of searching have found something! A bit bling for my liking perhaps but hey ho, its on the back of my head so I wont see it, only the other poor folk in the warm up arena will be blinded by the bling!

Had to order 3 of the things (minimum order is £5) but at least when it inevitably falls off again I'll have spares to replace it!

Thanks again for the suggestions :)
