Box foot??

What do you all think of a box hoof and how bad it is? I know that it depends on how severe it is etc but just wondering what you all thought? Thanks

My old tb had as boxy front hoof. It never caused him any problems and he was never lame on it. I have hear of others that have never had any problems too.

my 17 yr old warmblood has a boxy front hoof.it has never caused her any problem as long as ive had her but farrier thinks she may have had problems if she had a competitive career,

My arab has a boxy front foot and so far so good. She is schooled to a high level and competes all over the south showing and winning, so I just ignore it now and just make sure the farrier sees her regularly. She is barefoot too.

Thanks everyone, trying a horse out that has a front box hoof but would be getting vetted. I do want to compete but do not exactly want to go round badminton so should hopfully not cause a problem.
