What would you feed a medium weight TB on its 2nd week of a 6 wk box rest period ?

Currently eating about 2 full large haynets of last years meadow hay he generally doesnt finish them, he gets token feeds am / pm 1/2 scoop of bran double handful of pasture mix to taste and a small amount of multivitamin and oil and 2 small muck tubs full of fresh grass 1 in the morning 1 in the evening he at the mo is seeming content he is bedded on straw which he probably is munching also - is he getting enough ?
Edited to say posted in NL also

i would be soaking the hay for a long time to leach out goodness, on box rest you want him getting as little energy as possible as he's not using any up!
i might add the lowest energy Hi-Fi to his feed if i wanted him to have more roughage. the bran is a great thing for that though, impactions are a real worry with box-rest horses so the bran should help.
sounds enough to me, you don't want him getting too much energy. i'd keep an eye on his straw consumption, though, again because of impaction worries.
