I don't ever ride on Boxing day, its usually rubbish! So I spend the day in the pub instead :) Christmas eve is usually brill with us, such an atmosphere aswell.

I bet you're excited, did you say you're going with the Southdown and Eridge? Tha'll be a big meet then.

You can ride this year, there's a day inbetween to peel your sprouts! :)

I agree, I steer clear of those..too many muppets out!

Yuck, boxing day is the social meet of the year, also my idea of a hell. It actually blew my horses brains last year, too many people, too many posers, too many novices, too many ponyclubbers, too much faff. Might go out if I can take Han or something, but honestly, aaarrrrhhh, worst meet of the season, I usually help turn out, get out of the landy, do a twirl and then hit the george(our boxing day meet pub), though I must admit im always jelous of the mounted, until they set off :smirk:

I agree totally, too many idiots out on Boxing day, just for the pose. Can completely blow a horses mind. Will be recovering from X-mas day myself and will be out again on the 29th with the Readyfield! Avoiding New Years day meet too for the same reasons!!
