Ok some of you may remember my post about wanting a horse and having a boyfriend who is jealous of me spending my time doing something other than spending time with him - well how things have changed - since getting my daughters pony into livery he goes down every day and fills haynets, brings bales of easibed to my door, sees to the water buckets, has mucked out the field and moved the fencing and has even seen to the pony by himself on two mornings when I have overslept (the joys of having a partner who is self employed!!)

He appreciates all the problems I have with my ex (see earlier post titled - What would you do) and has even said that if my ex wants to fight about the horses then it isn't worth it and he would help me find my own!!!

Awww thats wonderful news. Glad its all worked out well.

And if you ever need to put him out on loan let me know ill be more than happy to borrow him!!

Fantastic that he's thrown himself in to it all with such gusto (for now).

Good on him, it does happen my other half was totally non horsey bloke to having his own and we are just about to take on a third between us all in a year...
 
god i can't get a bf/gf as a result of havin no time for ne thing else with horses and A levels ect, sooooooooooooooo jealous it's untrue!!!!!!!! lol gd 4 u!
 
It's amazing how they come round! My OH absolutely adores Athena - he's even feeding her at tea time which he was adamant about not doing!!!

He even calls her 'Daddy's little girl'!!!!!
 
well done him and you on that front,my OH used to help me a lot with the horsey things especially when i used to go out hunting at 6 mths pregnant! he slowly lost interest though and now leaves me to my own devices,he looks after our little boy when i'm riding/down the yard so most of the time i quite like to get away from the boys and hang out with the girls ( my horses and dogs!) he does ask me how i'm getting on sometimes and will give me money towards things as he knows i'd really appreciate it,he's giving me some spending money for Olympia so he's very generous and caring but he's really into Moto X and that takes his spare time up,we're very independent of each other.
