Earlier this week a family with a little boy came to have another look at a shetland my daughter was selling. They decided to have him so my daughter asked the boy if he wanted to come and have a look at his pony, he grabbed her hand and off they went.
What with all this rain, their yard is a bit muddy and the little boy was clearly impressed - "You've got mud" he said. "Ssh" said his parents, a bit embarassed.
"Yes I'm afraid we have" said daughter, "Come and see your pony"
"I like mud a lot" says boy "I'd rather play with mud than see my pony".
Nothing changes and they're still giggling!

We have a young boy who comes to ride our pony once a week. He does seem to quite enjoy his lesson...but can't wait to get off and go and get covered in mud, either digging a pointless hole somewhere or making a nice path to nowhere with bits of stone!!!
He is totally focused and in a world of his own... if only he put that much effort in to his lessons he would be at POYS by now!!!!
Boys ... don't you just love 'em!!!
