I wore my new RS2010 for a cross country lesson Tuesday. It's the first time I've ever worn a BP. I woke up yesterday morning with terrible upper back pain that has lasted all day today too. So I was just wondering if any one else has experienced this?? I had the BP fitted whilst I was at Blenheim on Saturday so I'm pretty confident it fits well, and seeing as I was wearing it during a lesson I'm pretty sure my position was fine. I'm off to ride tonight in it and just a bit worried I'm going to be in agony tomorrow :(

I've got an RS2010 and love it - I don't really see how it could have given you backache as they're so light. Maybe you pulled something doing XC but didn't realise it at the time?

Cant see how they would cause backache other than by making you sit up straighter than you normally would. The only time I ever got backache from riding horses was my first days on the gallops when hiking up my stirrups caused me to actually use my back muscles - if you arent x-country fit, Id assume its the same as you have now.

Thanks for your replies!
No, wasn't my first time XC schooling. Was just my first time ever in a BP. I wore it last night, my instructor loosened the laces for me and back feels ok this morning. I just thought maybe it's normal as my body gets used to it? I am a bit of a slouch usually.

I'll be sticking with it though as it is comfy to ride in and so much more flexible than the other BP's I tried on.
