On the plus side, whoever had the pup obviously diddnt deserve to have it, you will as always find the perfect home

What type of person would say an eight week old pup is agressive and dangerous?!?! Madness!
Even if a young dog was showing agressive tendencies surely you'd seek help from a trainer/behavourist or rehome it to a more experienced home rather than just having it PTS?!
I really am shocked!
But agree that they didn't deserve the dog and am glad you have it to find it a good home!

My god there are some thick ****'s out there!!! I do actually, to my great regret, know someone who returned a 10 week old staffy because it snapped at one of her kids. Having met her kids I don't blame it one little bit!

But thank the sweet baby jesus again for your mum who will find the little poppet a proper home.

I can't believe that is the full story - firstly if the pup is 8 weeks, they can only have had it 5 minutes and secondly they must have forked out a small fortune to buy a Shar Pei - there must be something else going on there.
 
They certainly would have forked out a small fortune...the same as the malamute, chocolate lab, cavi just to name a few that we have in at the moment

when people have what they proclaim is a problem dog....the amount of money does not come into it...they want rid.....if its agressive which they claim(probabley whitnessed some rough puppy play) they wont want to pass the puppy on....and the breeder would not take it back...I believe they have had the puppy a few weeks

not everyone is a responsible breeder....they dont all stick by the age guide line.....we see dogs brought in that have been bought at 4 weeks old

Someone on this forum....has adopted one of our dogs...Im sure she could tell u...how many expensive pedigree dogs she saw in our rescue....when she came to collect her pedigree dog

Also a vet that uses this forum that worked closely along side my mam until recently...she also could reiterate...that this is normal to our rescue....and others no doubt

I asure u I have no reason to lie......maybe there is something else going on...something we were not told.....maybe they realised how many health problems these dogs have....and how expensive insurance and medical bills come to....maybe they realised what these dogs where breed for...whitnessed a little rough play....and being relitavley numb....got shot quick

Look at the dogs in my siggi....four of those pedigrees...all rescues...2 more expensive to purchase than this puppy.....complete with pedigrees to prove it...unlike this one.....but Im guessing round about the £800 mark

Sorry I have obviously put my post across in the wrong way!!! I didn't for one minute think that you had lied and I was trying to show my disbelief at the people who brought the dog in. I applaud what you do 100% - good luck with the little chap but it drives me crazy when I see the sort of people who keep dogs sometimes.
