Spray it I think.
It is best to get rid of this horrid plant ASAP as it has the same effect as Ragwort on horses and it is not pretty.

We had about half an acre of Bracken to treat when we bought our land. We used Axulox spray weedkiller in a knapsack sprayer. Have to say we have been really pleased with the result. You don't really get anywhere pulling it up as the root system is in layers so it just throws out shoots from deeper in the ground.
