Braking to harness??

Just wanted to know if anyone on here could give me some info on braking a 5 year old to harness? Like where do you start and how hard is it to do by yourself?

Also he's 14.2HH (Nearly) what sort of carriage would I need for me and my HO, also for hores?

I've put a lot of thought into this and will not go into this blind, and not knowing anything at all. Just for info to mull over and then look into it some more after, before I start doing anything wilth my lad.

Go to the BDS website at www.britishdrivingsociety.co.uk and click on the page marked Training.

Then look at the list of Light Harness Horse Instructors - I'm sure there's one or two in your area.

I'd reccomend you approach a professional, as they have all the experience in the world, and can answer all your questions for you.
