Bran Mash questions....

how do you guys feed bran mash's ? on there own or mixed in to normal feed ? and how often?

i have put about 2-3 mug fulls of warm soaked bran into willow's lunch or tea twice in the last 3 days, as she is a bit sorry for herself on box rest with a cut pastern. she goes mad for it she nearly swipes the bucket out of my hand!! nice to have something to cheer her up a bit she doesnt like being in

I have never fed bran.

I feed 3 mugs full of luke warm mash to my 2 laminitics per day. They dont mind it on its own or with other food.

Hi,
I m up in the NW and a co near us has a product called ready mash- there s various different ones variously with maise, barley etc but my poor doer welshie has never looked better than when on this combined with same co s show and glow mix

Thats Rowen & Barbary feeds. The Ready Mash is lovely, it goes all soft and fluffy - mine go nuts over it especially if soaked with warm water rather than cold.

Mine gets a bit every night (to mix her Hormonal Mare supplement in) and thats mixed in with her top spec and quiet mix. She loves it!
