Brand marks

My old pony had a brand mark and I wondered if anyone would recognise it if I explained it? Unfotunately I don't have a pic of it but I will have a look for one tonight.
It was like a W but the last part of the W was like a slanted 9 - as if the end of the W curled over?!
It's not very clear is it?! Sorry but would appreciate your help if you can!

yes, YO has one of those on one of the forest ponies.
contact www.newforestpony.com and ask there, they'll be able to put you in touch with the pony's breeder maybe.

Thank you! Do you really think I might be able to get in touch with his breeder? He didn't have any papers and I bought him in the days before passports so I suppose it might be a long shot!
