Brands of biotin - question.

I have started to feed my TB biotin however in the tack shop they had several brands of Biotin I just bought the biggest cheapest tub (Equimins) I could as he went through the last tub quite quickly.
I am now wondering does the brand of Biotin actually matter, are some stronger than others? (didn't have time to compare the brands in the shop).

I don't know, but I know the Equimins brand of supplements is good anyhow. Amongst other items, I have used their Biotin, and it worked extremely well for my mare.

I never found any of the biotins worked on my TB, what did work was NAF's Hoof & Hide, it took some months for Blacksmith too see a difference but it worked and instead of throwing shoes and have crumbling feet after 18 months his feet were nearly perfect.

biotin didn't work on my tb i used farriers aid and it worked brilliantly

i have just put my tb on biotin and put him on biotinplus wich is supposed to be double strenth, feet is a lengthly process though as it takes 9months to grow a new hoof my farrier also said plento of feed as his feet just wernt growing fast enough.

feeding farriers aid my tb when from literally just rasping to shape to taking a good cm of hoof off. would definalty recommend it.

i will try that too thank you, ive only had him2weeks and his feet are terrible big holes in them!!
